Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) ne Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 edition ke liye online application portal ek baar phir se open kar diya hai. Official Public Notice (F. No. CBSE/CTET/Sept./2026/e-73233) ke mutabiq, jo candidates pehle application form fill nahi kar paaye the, unhe ek aur moka diya gaya hai. Yeh decision Supreme Court ke directions ke baad liya gaya hai taaki sabhi eligible candidates ko teacher eligibility qualification haasil karne ka pura avsar mil sake.
Agar aap Primary (Classes 1 to 5) ya Elementary (Classes 6 to 8) level par teacher banna chahte hain, toh CTET clear karna ek mandatory requirement hai. Eligibility Criteria
CTET exam mein appear hone ke liye candidates ko National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) dwara nirdharit minimum educational qualification poori karni hogi.
Education Qualification
For Paper I (Primary Teacher - Classes I to V): Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and appearing or passed in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / D.Ed) OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Diploma in Education (Special Education).
For Paper II (Elementary Teacher - Classes VI to VIII): Graduation with at least 50% marks and appearing or passed in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed as per NCTE norms.
Note: NCTE rules ke anusar reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled) ko minimum educational qualification marks mein 5% ki relaxation di gayi hai.
Age Limit
CBSE CTET Information Bulletin ke mutabiq CTET exam mein appear hone ke liye koi minimum ya maximum age limit nahi rakhi gayi hai. Candidate kisi bhi umar mein is exam ke liye apply kar sakte hain.

Salary & Pay Scale
CTET ek teacher eligibility test hai, isliye isme direct salary pay nahi ki jaati. Lekin CTET qualify karne ke baad jab aap Central Govt ya State Govt schools mein appoint honge, tab aapko Pay Matrix ke hisab se attractive salary milti hai:
- Primary Teacher (PRT): Pay Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400) + Allowances
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Pay Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400) + Allowances
